How long is your panto?
Our pantomimes typically run for about 2.5 hours, which includes a 20-minute interval.
Are discount tickets available?
Yes, we offer concession tickets for children, seniors, and carers. Additionally, there's a Group Ticket discount available when purchasing four tickets, with at least one being a concession ticket. The discount is applied for every four or multiples of four tickets purchased. For more details, please refer to our Panto Prices page.
Do you provide free carer tickets for registered disabled guests?
Carers/disabled guests are eligible for concession prices instead of the full standard ticket prices for performances.
Is there free parking?
Yes, free parking is provided for evening shows. That is parking is free for performances starting at 6.30pm and 7.30pm. You can also park free of charge all day on Sundays. For more information regarding parking and any applicable fees, visit Campus West Car Park page.
Can I bring my baby to the panto?
Yes, you can bring your baby under 12 months to the panto by selecting the "STANDARD Incl. BABY 12 Months & Under" option when booking. Please note that the baby must be under 12 months at the time of booking, not at the time of booking the tickets. More information is available on our Panto Prices page.
Is there an age limit for attending a panto?
Apart from adult-only pantos, there is no age limit for our traditional family-friendly pantos.
Are pantos suitable for children?
Yes, our pantos are designed to be family-friendly and suitable for all ages. However, there are adult-only pantos for audiences 18 years and over, containing strong language, adult humor, and content.
Can I book a school performance?
Yes, but only after 31st October. Currently there are six panto performances dedicated to schools. These performances are exclusively open to schools, with school children charged £10 per head and teachers attending for free. Starting from 1st November, school performances are open to the public for booking at £18 per head, although only limited tickets will be available at that time.
Do the cast interact with the audience during the performance?
Yes, pantos are known for their interactive style, encouraging audience participation. Expect cheers, jeers, songs, dances, and slapstick comedy.
Can we take photos or videos during the performance?
Photography and videography are not permitted during the performance to avoid disrupting both performers and audience members.
Are food and drinks allowed inside the theatre?
Snacks and drinks purchased from our Humphrey's bar within the theatre are permitted. However, hot food is not allowed inside the theatre.
What should I wear to a panto?
We do not enforce a specific dress code for our pantos. Most attendees opt for casual, comfortable attire. Some may choose to dress festively, especially during the holiday season.
Can I have a shout-out?
Yes, shout-outs are allowed. Please ask for the details on the day of the performance, and you'll be provided with a form to fill out. Please note that we cannot guarantee all shout-outs will be read.
Can I audition for a part?
Cast auditions are advertised through the casting service 'Spotlight.' Keep an eye out for announcements regarding auditions on our website.
All participants for the Senior or Junior Ensemble Audition will be required to complete an online registration form.
I'm interested in auditioning as a junior dancer, what do I do?

What do I need to do if I want to be a panto chaperone?
As part of the junior dancer audition process, we require all parents/guardians of successful auditionees to become chaperones. Full details can be found in our Auditions Terms & Conditions.
