Why do I have to fill a Skating Lesson Consent Form before I am allowed to learn how to skate in your venue?
Filling out a Roller City Skating Lesson Consent Form before participating in our venue’s learning to skate sessions is mandatory for several important reasons:
- Roller skating, like any physical activity, carries inherent risks. The consent form ensures that you are fully informed about these risks and understand the safety protocols in place. This awareness helps minimize the likelihood of accidents and injuries.
- The form allows us to gather essential health information that may impact your ability to skate safely. Knowing about any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations ensures that our staff and instructors can provide appropriate assistance and support during your skating session.
- For participants under 18, the form requires a parent or guardian's signature. This ensures that minors have permission to skate and that their guardians are aware of the activity and its associated risks.
- The consent form collects emergency contact details, which are crucial in the event of an accident or medical emergency. Having this information readily available enables us to act swiftly and efficiently to ensure safety and well-being of the affected skater.
- Many insurance policies and liability coverage plans require consent forms to be signed by participants. This helps us comply with insurance requirements, ensuring that we can provide a safe and secure environment for all skaters.
- Signing the form indicates that you have read and understood our venue's terms and conditions and rules of skating safely and acknowledge that you are participating voluntarily and accept the potential risks involved.
Filling out the Roller City Skating Lesson Consent Form is a vital step in ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants in our skating lesson programme. This mandatory act helps us maintain a safe, informed, and enjoyable skating experience for everyone. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to seeing you on the rink!
